A wheelchair is a chair fit with wheels used to transport people that have difficulty walking, or cannot walk, due to illness or injury. Manual wheelchairs are available a user propelled wheelchair or as assisted use transport wheelchairs. A manual wheelchair are propelled by the user by turning the large rear wheels by hand. Many manual wheelchairs also have rear facing handles for caregivers or other people to use to assist in propelling the user. A transport wheelchair has four small wheels and rear facing handles and are generally designed to be pushed by a second person.
