Xeroform^TM Non-occlusive Gauze Dressings contains 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate in a water-in-oil emulsion on fine mesh gauze. This provides the dressing with bacteriostatic action, non-adherent construction, and hydrophilic ointment.

The 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate in a water-in-oil email on the fine mesh gauze provide the bacteriostatic action in light to heavy exudating wounds. It clings and conforms and is low product and is used for compression therapy and use in deep and shallow wounds.

The non-adherent construction of this dressing provides a non-traumatic to the wound or the patient upon removal. The hydrophilic ointment creates a non-occlusive dressing that allows the wound to breathe.

Indications:

• Donor and recipient sites

• First and second degree burns

• Abrasions through to tunneling wounds

• Chronic Wounds

• Low to high exudating wounds

Precaution:

Irritation may develop with a history of atopy or if sensitivity to Bismuth Tribromophenate exists.
