VIVONEX® TEN elemental formula contains 100% free amino acids and a very low fat content to provide nutritional support for those with severe GI (Gastrointestinal) impairment. It is enriched with glutamine to help support the cells in the GI tract. The very low fat content helps improve tolerance for those with severe malabsorption.
VIVONEX® TEN can be used for tube feeding or oral supplementation. Requires minimal digestive function for assimilation while providing benefits asscoaited with continued use of the GI tract.
It is appropriate for lactose-free, gluten-free, low-residue, and kosher.
Provides nutritional support for: - Severely impaired GI function (transitional feeding, extensive bowel resection, severe protein/fat malabsorption, malabsorption syndrome, select trauma/ surgery, early post-operative feeding, intestinal failure, Chylothorax, pancreatitis, trophic feeding, TPN alternative, and dual feeding with TPN.
