Skin Care Creams are skin care products that have a thicker consistency than lotions but lighter than ointments. Creams are quickly and easily absorbed by skin and leave a thin film later to help protect and retain moisture in the skin. Cream are a mixture of 50% water, 50% oil and thickening agents. Oils used in creams are often Lanolin or Petrolatum. Some oil free creams are available.
