Permaform® Foam Dressings are available in either a Non-Adhesive or the Comfort Adhesive versions. These high vapor permeable latex-free foam dressings have unsurpassed fluid handling capabilities. They also have the highest moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) among foam dressings.
They feature a waterproof outer membrane and an efficient foam layer absorbs wound exudate and wicks fluid away from the wound bed. They conform to difficult-to-dress areas including elbows, ankles, sacral, and tracheotomy sites. The PermaFoam® Comfort includes adhesive to adhere the foam in place securely to cover and protect the wound.
They are soft and comfortable and prevent maceration of skin and promotes optimal healing. They simplify cleansing of wound area and protects the wound from bacteria and contaminants. The high level of absorbency results in fewer dressing changes.
Precaution: PermaFoam® drainage dressings are not indicated for the management of third degree burns.
PermaForm® dressings are for use in the management of chronic wound drainage wounds including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers. They are also for use on medium to heavy exuding wounds. They are ideal for use under compression bandaging systems.
