Peptamen® with Prebio1TM is complete elemental nutrition with soluble fiber. It is a well-tolerated peptide based source of nutrition for those with GI disorders. It contains a special fiber blend to support digestive health. Comes in 250 mL containers (8.45 ounces) or 1000 ml Ready to Hang bags for tube feeding.
The formula provides complete nutrition in the form that is easy to digest and absorb. Each 250 mL serving contains 1 gram of PREBIO1TM. Prebio is a fiber blend that helps support digestive health. It also provides 16% of calories from whey-based peptides. The result is an easy-to-absorb combination of protein, lipids, vitamins, and minerals that's also well tolerated. Each 250 mL carton also provides 10 grams of protein and 9.8 grams of fat. The balanced peptide profile promotes GI absorption and integrity. It also has enzymatic hydrolyzed 100% whey protein, which may facilitate gastric emptying.
It is intended for tube feeding only.
