Glutasolve® Glutamine Powder in 22.5 gram packets (0.79 oz) is designed for conditions associated with gastrointestinal (GI) injury or disease. The amino acid, L-glutamine is the main fuel for cells of the GI tract. Each serving contains 15 grams of L-glutamine for the nutritional management of conditions associated with GI injury or disease.
Glutasolve® is unflavored and mixes easily with foods like yogurt, applesauce or pudding.
It is appropriate for lactose-intolerance*, gluten-free, and cholesterol-free.
*Not for individuals with galactosemia
Provides nutritional support for:
- Malabsorption & GI disorders associated with GI surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, inflammatory bowel disease, HIV/AIDS on HAART (highly active antiretroviral therapy), Infectious Enteritis, and impaired immune function.

Using GLUTASOLVE®:
Oral Administration: Mix one packet GLUTASOLVE® powder into 4 fl oz of a favorite hot or cold beverage, or with soft foods like yogurt, applesauce or pudding. Stir well and consume immediately after mixing.
Tube Feeding Administration: Mix one packet of GLUTASOLVE® with 2-4 fl oz (60-120 mL) warm water. Infuse immediately via syringe into enteral feeding tube. Minimum tube size recommended is 8 Fr. Flush tube with 15-30mL water before and after administration via enteral feeding tube. Adding GLUTASOLVE® directly to enteral formula is not recommended.
Peripheral Neuropathy Protocol3-5: Consume GLUTASOLVE® solution for 4 days starting 24 hours after receiving platinum compounds and.or taxane-based chemotherapy. Mix 2 packets of GLUTASOLVE® powder (30 g L-glutamine) into 9 fl oz (270 mL) if water and refrigerate. Mix vigorously before consuming (powder will settle during refrigeration). Consume approximately 3 fl oz (90mL) 3 times per day.
