Allevyn Gentle Border Heel Dressing measures 9-1/8" x 9". It is coated with a gentle silicone adhesive layer that ensures atraumatic removal at dressing changes. It has an advanced triple layered construction which combines hydrocellular pad sandwiched between perforated silicone gel adhesive wound contract later and a highly permeable waterproof outer film.
It provides dynamic fluid management while providing a moist wound environment. The bacterial barrier may help reduce the risk of infection. It is easy to fit and can be left in place without the need for secondary retention, conforming well to complex contours of the heel.
It provides excellent flexibility without compromising gentle adherence and can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherent properties.
